th4With its growing success over the last few years, the Gravel is now entitled to its own world championship. Indeed, since 2022 the International Cycling Union has launched the Trek UCI Gravel World Series.

This prestigious competition will bring together throughout the year the best specialists in the discipline in 17 stages in 14 different countries, all of which will qualify for the world championships* in Italy on October 2024.

In France, Wish One, already the organiser of several renowned Gravel events, has once again been chosen by the UCI to organise the only French stage of the Trek UCI Gravel World Series in Millau on 16th June 2024.

On this occasion, Open, Cadets and Juniors races will be offered on the opening day of the UCI events, Saturday 15th June 2024, on the tracks of the UCI courses.

Starting from Millau, the course will take the participants through the superb Causses landscapes, along a 145km course alternating rustic roads, rolling tracks, single-track, undergrowth and forest paths.

If the Grands Causses territory should charm the runners by its diversity, the course remains no less difficult. Indeed, it will be necessary to climb many difficulties to reach the finish line located under the Millau Viaduct. A strong technique and a solid physical condition will be required to hope to qualify for the world championships.
